Hello Everyone,
It is that time of year again...time to turn our crafting to Christmas decor and gift!
This is a very creative time of year and I thought I might give us an opportunity to share what we are creating for holiday season. Today I am beginning Deck The Halls Sundays blog hop that will continue until Christmas with a new "how to" video on bleaching and dyeing your own bottle brush trees.
Bleaching and Dyeing Bottle Brush Christmas Trees
Next week I will have some ornaments created using some of the trees I have bleached and dyed. Also, I recently found a beautiful Vintage feather style tree, and you will see me start from scratch to create ornaments and decorations to fill it up! Yay!
Next week I will post Saturday evening for Sundays so we can get an early start. So if you would like to join in with any posts sharing home made Christmas decorations or gifts, then stop by and link up (today if you are ready as I will keep toady's open all week) next Saturday and Sunday.

ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of bleaching green trees like that and I do have some that I want white, so thank you for this video, love it !

I am at a conference with my husband and have a room full of craft materials (well, a bag full) so hopefully I can whip some things up, if not for this week, for next week. I also am decorating a little tree (from Tilda). Now I don't feel badly that I left my new teacups at home!!!

ReplyDeleteThere is also a tutorial on how to make these little trees at home. It's not very hard to do and the tutorial shows how you can use yard as well as a twine material. Yarn makes for a very sweet fluffy tree.
