A Beautiful Day

Hello All!
Today is a beautiful day!
The sun is shining,
The sky is blue,
The earth is warming up a bit....
Yay!

Emma (on the left) was not feeling well yesterday when I took this picture,
She has sore ears, a hot spot on her side and a gimpy leg...
Betsy is sticking close to her sister.
But today, Emma is feeling better! Yay!
She looks much happier today.
Betsy is happy as ever, and ready to play at a moments notice.
They keep me company all day.
Such sweeties!

So I am thankful the ear medicine is helping,
her soar is not as red looking and her limp is better today.
Boy it is tough getting older. lol!
I am thankful Betsy is well and happy too!

Today I just feel like being thankful and aware of all our blessings.

So I thought I would share my Gratitude thoughts for today....

1. I am so thankful for my family.
My dear husband, and my three children. Boy do they connect me with my joy!

2. I am very grateful for the health that we do have.

3. I am truly thankful for my husband's  creative job that he enjoys!
....and that he works from home.

4. I feel such thankfulness for our home. What a blessing to have a home!

5. I am thankful for friendship...many of which I have made right here online with YOU!

6. I am thankful for grocery stores that always have food in them for us to buy,
AND for all the farmers who provide our food.

7. I am really thankful for the sun, the daffodils coming up,
the crocus and the buds on my lilac bush.
The spring rain (snow?) and the lovely breeze.

I am thankful for all you artists, who share your creations and inspirations so selflessly!
I have been so inspired this last week visiting you.

I could go on and on.....

What are you thankful for today?

(Today's drawing practice.... I love learning!)

Hugs of LOVE,
Terri

  8. at the moment I am in a health ressort in the mountains in the south of France, and I am thankful for the luck I have to come here during a month once a year, to cure my asthma. I see people sruggling here much more than I do... I am happy to feel the sunshine, and to speak to my husband with skype every evening... I am a very lucky and happy person with loads of things to be greatful for!!

  9. Lovely post. The sun is shining today. I am grateful for that. We've had so many cloudy days all in a row. I took a long walk on our frozen lake. My footsteps filled with slush and water so I stayed close to the shoreline.

Earlier in the day, I took my daughter and her two little ones to the butterfly garden here in Montreal. It was such a beautiful sight to watch all the butterflies flying around us (in the indoor botanical gardens).

I am grateful for my family, that I have time, my good health, and good car to go out outings together.
    I feel blessed today.
Your drawing is so good, very life-like.
    Sending hugs.

  12. awe-sweet Emma and Betsy!! One of our previous cockers used to get hot spots and I actually had to put the liquid in a child's water gun and aim it because he was so bad and would hide and growl if I came near him.
What beautiful gratitude thoughts. I'm grateful for so many things I can't list them here, but certainly I am grateful for the online community of the incredible people (like you) that I have met.

  20. Terri What a wonderful way to start the day:) I appreciate your thoughts on Thankfulness sometimes it is easy to get caught up in daily life and forget all that we do have. I love the pictures of your sweet girls they are precious. It is hard to see them get older. We have a very old dog and this year she is having a horrible time getting up and walking it makes me sad. I love your drawing what a wonderful thing to learn.

  24. Hi Terri. I tried to comment earlier but for some reason it didn't go through. You dogs are so cute and I hope little Emma's ear heals quickly. I like your lady drawing, I see you are adding hair and I do like her curly locks. She looks like she is ready to whisper a secret. Joyous Wishes, Linda
