Today was one of those stormy gloomy days...
Dark heavy clouds blanketed the sky from sun up to sun down.
A perfect day for a cup or two of tea : )
It is time bring out my early fall tea cups.
Cream and gold seems just right.
Lovely birds, berries, fruit and flowers
gives me the feeling of harvest time.
I call this my harvest cup as it seems to include such bounty!
I love this one with the apple in the middle.
It was a beautiful summer,
but the harvest is now in,
and Fall has arrived.
I hope for a slower pace....
Walking out doors in autumn
in the fresh air is so revitalizing.
I do love fall!
Thank you so much for stopping by to visit!
I have been hearing how busy you all are
(me too!)
and I appreciate you taking your time to say "hello".
(As a nod to the up coming holiday... a "bat" winged tea cup handle!)
Bwwwoooooaaahhhhhh ha ha!
Martha is busy with house changes and party decorations,
so she may be joining up a little later.
We all LOVE Martha!
Do you bring out special china for fall?
Hugs,
Terri

Cream and gold are my favorite tea cups - I have one cup and several saucers and plates that belonged to my mother.
ReplyDeleteTea parties were the 'thing' in her day!
Your collection is beautiful, painted with inspiration from the hedgerows of England I would think.
So delicate and fine - lovely to share tea with you today - thank you!
hugs
Shane
Your teacup trio is so perfect for this time of year and so beautiful! You have a good eye, the teacup handle does look like a bat wing! Thanks for hosting and have a great week!

Lovely, milady - as always. I do love the detailed artwork inside teacups. Your harvest of fruits are perfect for the season. Quite the cloudy stormy couple of days in my neck of the woods, too. So, of course - there's nothing for it but tea!
ReplyDeleteJoy!

Such lovely Fall china! I especially love it when each setting is slightly different. Fall is such a lovely time of year and although our seasonal changes can be subtle in the desert clime, our temps are beginning to cool down. Mornings and evenings are glorious. Have a lovely week, dear Terri!
