Hello All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!
You are just in time for a Christmas tea...
Come in and warm yourself by the fire.
How about a cup of English Breakfast while we chat?
How are you doing?
Are you celebrating Christmas?
If you do, what is your favorite part of this holiday?
This sweet little vintage tea pot has a festive feel to it.
I found it last winter, after the holiday.
(I only just realized I do not have any Christmas tea cups...
not one!)
It must be the gold trim and the red and cream
coloring that makes it seem
like it belongs to the Christmas season.
This tea pot was created by my favorite
English fine tea pot company,
Sadler.
I believe the tea cup is a Paragon.
So......
Only 7 days until Christmas Eve....
: )
My favorite thing about Christmas is LOVE.
and because of the LOVE....
Giving.

Thank you so much for visiting!
Hugs,
Terri
Good morning Terri,
ReplyDeleteYour teapot is adorable and does have a festive feel to it. It would go well with many of your gilded teacups. Christmas is a happy time and I love everything about it. Wishing you and your your loved ones a joyous holiday.
Christmas blessings,
Sandi
Hi Terri! Happy Teacup Tuesday! I like your Sadler teapot and it does indeed look festive. I have a feeling you'll be acquiring a Christmas teacup somewhere along the way! Merry Christmas to you and your family. ~ Phyllis
ReplyDeleteHi sweet Terri, hope your C'mas holiday season is coming out lovely. I love that gorgeous teapot and teacup as well. Thank you for the tea party, very happy to be here.
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteYour rosy teapot caught my eye as today I received two perfect red roses from a nieghbour's winter garden and their scent was utterly heavenly!
What a cozy gathering for tea you have for us today! Lovely and festive, thank you for hosting and have a wonderful week!
Merry Christmas!
Poppy
Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteThis Christmas post of yours made me think that, after all, every beautiful teapot or teacup, in the right environment, is suitable to celebrate Christmas. I don't have any special ones for the season, either...
Thanks for hosting and for celebrating this festive time with all of us.
Merry Christmas, dear Terri!
Dear Terri,
ReplyDeletewhat a sweet couple are the Sadler tea pot and the Paragon cup. Look very festive together. The red rose and the golden trims are a bit Christmas, too. Thank you for sharing this sweet setting and for hosting the sweet event.
Best greetings, Johanna
The teapot is perfect with the red flower, and you have so many lovely teacups it's easy to have a festive tea table! Have a wonderful week and thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Ruth
Hi dear friend! Love the tea cup and that tea pot is amazing. You always share such amazing tea cups. Remember you are loved! Martha
ReplyDeleteI like the teapot, big red roses for a Christmas tea. I only have one teacup with poinsettias and after showing it once, had to move on to others.
ReplyDeleteThe gathering of our family at Christmas is what means the most to me. Busy lives and jobs prevent us from being with our two girls and grands often, so Christmas is a special time.
Merry Christmas.
Judith

Beautiful post. I love the red rose teapot and your teacup looks perfect with it. I always love things that are not necessarily 'matchy' I think it shows style! Holiday is upon us with only a handful of days left before Christmas. Your post feels like I'm chatting with a friend! Thanks for the beautiful post.

What a beautiful tea time. The red rose and gold trim on your teapot is perfect for the Christmas season. It is a good surprise that you don't have a Christmas cup and saucer for you will have fun shopping for next year! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season!
ReplyDeletePam
Hello Terri, this is an exquisite teapot! Absolutely perfect for a Christmas tea! I hope you have a blessed week! I do appreciate you hosting and sharing,

Hi Terri, I love that tea pot and I think that I might have a mate to your sweet cup. It's lovely to use red and green and white with gold to represent the Christmas holiday, isn't it? It's just perfect. I do have a "Christmas" cup but it's in Van and I'm in OXON so it won't be shown this year anyway. I decorated the Vancouver house before I left and Robert and I just got the tree yesterday for here. Looking forward to visiting with friends now, carolling thru the village and the candlelight evensong mass. Also hoping to drag R to Handel's Messiah but we'll have to wait and see...lol. Much love and peace for these next fractious days; hope your preparations go smoothly. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Terrie! I do find it very hard to imagine that you don't own a single Christmas teacup :) Your tea pot and cup are gorgeous and certainly do look festive! I'm finally finished with all the Christmas prepping (well, outside of baking some goodies)and can now enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI thought I had left a comment but realized I never did - my brain is fried. I love your teapot and guessed it must be a Sadler! It is lovely! What a beautiful posting!
ReplyDeleteTaking a moment to have a beautiful cup of tea with you is such sweet bliss...thank you Terri Dear. I love Christmas and all the Magic of the season. I do BELIEVE in Santa. Giving is such heartfelt Joy! Merry Christmas with Peace and Joy my Friend.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Christmas is annual tea I do with friends. This year it was between storms! Love the shared time... I love your tea pot as well...I have a poinsettia one but while it is out, I have not used it yet this year. I am using my snowman things more. Merry Christmas to you and all tea drinking friends!
ReplyDeleteHi Terri,

hi Terry, thank you so much for the nice cup of tea and once again for the parcel I received. I am going to my parents in the Netherlands, so exited!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty teapot. My son bought some wonderful tea for his sister at David's Tea Shop in NYC called "Sleigh Ride" It is described as being as rosy as a "carolers cheeks" which I love! It turns pink when you add a little milk and is wonderfully fragrant with a touch of spice. We are enjoying it this week.
