Happy June All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!
I am sorry I was unable to join you last week.
Thank you Martha for carrying on!
With life being so very full right now,
I am even more delighted to be able to take
some time for tea with you all!
Especially this morning on the balcony....
The weather has warmed up beautifully.
So I am enjoying my tea and toast outdoors.
My tea is peppermint, and as you can see...
My eggs are not done to perfection, lol!
Have you ever noticed yolks breaking
more easily in the springtime?
Some watermelon to start with...
And some toast.....(sigh)
I found this chunky bread at Whole Foods,
it is sourdough spelt.
(It was delicious!).
This pink rosey tea cup was made by Royal Albert.
They have done a fine job
commemorating June with this design.
I have just begun reading this book...
The authoress gives us a look at Jane's life
through the lens of her letters.
It is very interesting and goes so well with tea out doors
: )
I hope you are all well and enjoying springtime,
and those of you enjoying fall, I hope you are doing well too!
Are you finding time to have tea?
Thank you so much for stopping by to visit!
Hugs,
Terri
I love those Royal Albert Tea Cups of the month. I have them for all the family member's birthdays. And the Jane Austin book looks intriguing. I will have to find it for myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely breakfast setting Terri. The eggs look perfect to me. Yum!!! I like the way you scooped up those watermelon balls. So refreshing, so delightful. What a way to start your day. Everyone seem to be in full anticipation for summer. While we are beginning to look just a little duller down under. I hope I can join you for tea this week. Thank you for this fabulous tea party.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week.
Hugs,
Aida
Hello dear Terri,
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious teacup for June! I do love the RA flowers of the month series. I have only the violets so far. Your breakfast looks inviting out on your balcony. Nothing like taking tea in the outdoors, is there? Nice to have you back this week. Have a delightful day, my friend.
Hugs,
Sandi
My dear Terri,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely meal on your balcony.
It looks so beautiful with the watermelon balls, and the wonderful bred and eggs, together with your most sweet cup, from Royal Albert.
A feast to the eyes and the mouth.
Dear friend, I wish you a good and happy week. Hug and smiles from Dorthe
A glorious cup for a month I love above all others. So full of promise and buds! It's quite a treat to have tea with you at such a special time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful teacup to begin the month of June! And breakfast on the balcony with a good book sounds divine! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty cup and your breakfast looks delicious, especially that bread!! Funnily enough I was looking at that book in the bookshop window in Bath only this morning while travelling back from holiday! Elaine X

Absolutely beautiful way to enjoy your breakfast. The table is so perfect for a spring or summer morning, I can almost hear the birds singing! Love the pattern and colors in the teacup. Just lovely...........thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Terri. It's already too hot and humid here to have tea on my balcony. Shucks! Royal Albert does such a nice job on their teacups and June with its roses is no exception. Terri it is wonderful to have tea on the balcony. I so love the smell of the Spring outdoors and having tea in the garden or anywhere outside is such a good feeling. I admire your June Tea Cup, your breakfast eggs and toast. I hadn't put a time to the yolk braking easily but will pay attention now that I've read. Take care and have a wonderful weeekend
ReplyDeletestunning way to have the breakfast. i liked all those stuff...
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Terri! I love the toast rack. If ever I see one of those I am going to grab it. I don't see many here in the midwest. Beautiful cup! I am off to look at your art books.

Hi, Terri...
ReplyDeleteAnd a happy June to you, too. Your breakfast looks divine. I must say that the toast sounds wonderful - sourdough spelt. I wish we had a Wholefoods near us. The closest one is in Houston, and well, I'm not driving there. But maybe I can find it somewhere closer.
Have a blessed day,
Marianne xo
What a lovely post Terri ...
