Hello All!
Welcome to the last Tea Cup Tuesday
of 2014
with Martha and me!
It is almost time to say "good-bye" to 2014 and
"hello" to 2015.
I am thankful for each and every day I experienced this year,
and I look forward to all the possibilities of this coming year.
Thank you all for your loving thoughts and prayers for my family and
myself this past year.
I really truly appreciate it!
I wish for each of you, daily presence, moments of clarity and
heaps of opportunities for JOY!
I am sharing here a little tea joy from the holidays...
I brought out this sweet little winter berry-ish
set for Christmas eve...
These cookies, and the cookies above, are traditional
treats for our family during Christmas.
This very simple set is lovely in candlelight.
The silver trim takes on a warm glow.
It is by Syracuse China, made right here in America.
Harmony, is a sweet name for this pattern,
My Jane Austen tree rests in my art room window.
It is a lovely spot to see in the morning sun.
Since I took this image,
the tree has been filled with ornaments from
friends here in blogland.
I am amazed at all the gorgeous and loving
art you all have shared with me!
Thank you again!
I cherish each one and will take pictures!
This is my latest little creation,
the Pink house.
It is hard to see...
...but there is a snowman and a bird bath in the front garden.
I used the Picture Window pattern for this one.
I used the Picture Window pattern for this one.
I have been enjoying this simple creative craft of mini houses,
and have just about finished a Christmas tree lot! lol!
Pure fun : )
How are you exploring your creativity?
Are you having fun?
Even though we go through some tough things here at home,
I make it a priority to have some true fun as often as possible.
I think it is the elixir of life!
*********************
week to week all year long!
Thank you for stopping by to visit!
Happy New Year!
If you would like to join in just link up your tea cup post below.
Martha and I would love to visit you too : )
Hugs,
Terri

ReplyDeleteGood Morning! Love your tree and the darling pink Putz style house. As I am typing this a murder of crows has taken up position on the wires outside my window. They are very noisy and I'm wondering if they are a threat to the song birds. Off to google it!Thank you for hosting. Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely set of china. My daughter lives in Syracuse and they USED to have a wonderful outlet where we could buy special things. Unfortunately that is all gone now. My first china was a Syracuse set... Wedding Ring.... I have since given it to my daughter once I decided on the Old Country Roses.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you.... may it be a MUCH better year!
Hi Terri,
ReplyDeleteI love your Jane Austen tree! Hubby gifted me with a powder pink one for Christmas and I'm looking forward to decorating it next year. I haven't decided yet with what, we'll see. The wee pink house is adorable! Your teacup is lovely and your Christmas goodies look scrumptious. Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy and Healthy New Year. Take care, my friend.
Blessings,
Sandi
I do love that winterberry pattern! Your trays of cookies look so good-I didn't make all I wanted to this year but enough that hubby still has a small tin to munch on:) Your Jane tree is gorgeous!! I too decorate a tree solely with ornaments from swaps and gifts from artists in blogland. It makes me so very happy to remember everyone and think of their kindnesses. Your little cottages are magical. Wishing you and yours a very Happy New year my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi Terri,
ReplyDeleteYour china is lovely today! I am so pleased that you are able to share your pretties again. Such a treat to visit you! Your wee pink house is gorgeous! Oh my! You are creative! I hope you decide to sell them because I would definitely buy one! Happy New Year Dear Friend! Karen

So glad to see you here again Terry and ready to begin a new year with us!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing the teacup from Syracuse China- as I grew up in Syracuse and still go to visit as often as possible- yes, they once had a wonderful store where you could buy, "seconds" but it has been closed for years- you still can find beautiful sets of Syracuse china at thrift stores though!
What ever are those cookies with the print? They look absolutely buttery yummy!!
And I adore your lil pink house as well as your delightful Jane Austen tree!!
welcome home Terry! xoxo

That is a lovely set and your cookies look yummy! The house is very sweet, too.
ReplyDeleteMay you have a wonderful New Year, full of many sweet moments.
Terri, I love your tree and your sweet little paper glitter houses - you are so danged clever.
ReplyDeleteThe only "creating" I have done is candle making with my little niece (for gifts her Momma and cousins and aunts) and lots of baking and cooking - which to me is just that and not really "creating." I am not a foodie blogger!
I am glad you are feeling better, all those prayers must be helping!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thanks for co-hosting. I am so happy you are back. Hugs. Michele
What a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a cup of tea and your beautiful creations. Happy New Year Terri! xxoo
