Welcome to our very first Tea Cup Tuesday! I have admired tea cups for many years now. Over time I have collected a few that I truly enjoy drinking from.
What I love about Tea Cups is that they make you want to sit down and drink from them. They ask for you to have a beautiful moment. Tea Cups are so lovely they make it easy to feel special. Tea cups are so beautiful, whatever you drink from them tastes even better.
The tea cup I am sharing today, I found in a Canadian town called Sault Ste. Marie. It was sitting in a little antique store just waiting for me to pick it up! I love it's soft blue color and the beautiful roses. From the little I could find through Google, It seems that Adderly was taken over by Ridgeway Potteries in Longton England in 1947. They still used the Adderly name for a while though. I could make a guess and say that this cup may have been made between then and 1960. I would like to learn more about this, so I will keep researching. Here are the links to other sites that are participating today. Have a good time visiting with these wonderful ladies. (If your name isn't on here and it should be, I am so sorry. Please e-mail me and I will fix it pronto..email@example.com)
