Hello All, and welcome to another Tea Cup Tuesday held by Martha and I. We love showing off tea cups and seeing the tea cups you all have as well. I have seen some really gorgeous cups lately. I appreciate all you do to set up a post and share with us all.
I love Rosina China! I love their tea cups most of all. Here are two that I own, the top one being my newest one. I adore the roses on the cups. These are dainty cups and are very proper for a ladies tea.
The backstamp suggests a 1050's cup. The Rosina China Co. was formerly G. Warrilow and Sons Ltd. and the company is located at Queen's Pottery in Longton, England.
Here is a close up of the other cup. I have shown it before, but as I love it so much I thought I would show it again : )
If you would like to join in the fun, please remember signing up means you will showcase a tea cup. Tell us some thing about it, it's maker (we love to see a photo of the backstamp) any history you know of the cup....how you came to have it, what you love to drink in it.....
Just fill in the two blanks below and you will be automatically added to the list. (Click on your own link to check and see if it works, once or so a Tuesday there is someone I can not get to through their link). Then we can come and see your beautiful tea cup!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Thank you all who have been following. I really appreciate all of your comments, read every one and try to visit everyone who comes by for a visit.
May your last few days of summer be glorious ones!
Hugs,
Terri

What beautiful cups. Thanks for hosting this fun blog party!
Dear Terri,
Thanks for co-hosting yet another delightful TCT with dear Martha!..,
I so enjoy your encyclopedic knowledge of teacups, thier makers and histories.., It is so interesting and informative!
In answer to your query,(reference my recent Silken Purse blog post); I will have to go look up the information on the other teacups via checking out the makers info., on the bottom of my various teacups featured, in my china cabinet.., (I will go back and note this info., tomorrow).
The all white, porcelain teacup however has no markings and I'm told by my dear mother that it is very old; it is as thin as tissue paper almost, 'visually', when it is held up to the light..,
It is one of my absolute favorites!
Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee
I alsmot forgot to mention; your teacups are exceptionally lovely thsi week Terri!..,
Cheers, W.L.

Lynn

The rose teacups are beautiful, and I especially appreciate the addition of blue to any teacups. I have never heard of Rosina china before either, so as usual, I learn something new on Teacup Tuesday!

What a lovely, lovely tea cup! Thank you so much for hosting this beautiful tea party. I'm following you now and look forward to many Tea Cup Tuesdays to come! :)
Such delicate teacups. I can see why they would be favorites. The historical information is so interesting....Do you goggle for that? Some of my pictures are not clear of the stampings on the bottom. Any tips? Yours are always so clear.
It is always a delight to see you teacups.
Blessings, Pam
Thank you for the tip...I will try your suggestion.
Pam
Very lovely - I love tea cups with flowers on it. In fact, I think they are synonymous. Thanks for sharing and hosting.
Sandy
Terri, your teacups are just beautiful! They are so dainty and sweet and the roses are perfect. Thank you for letting me part of your Teacup Tuesday and thanks for stopping by my blog. Regards, Connie
Hi, this is my first time joining in.
I LOVE your teacups. So beautiful. And I love a beautifully designed handle. It just adds to the wonderful features of the cup.
Blessings,
Kim
Thank you for visiting my blog today, and thank you for your kinds thoughts. I love your pretty rose cups, and the handles are very nice. I am rather picky about handles because I like them feel good when I use them. Your cups look like they have great handles for daily use.
I also got a chance today to see your last week's post. I really like that blue tree cup you showed and told about. Blue trees...amazingly different!
Dear Terri,
These are two stunning tea cups and both of them really speak to my heart!!
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful Tea Party and it is a pleasure to be part of it!!
Hugs,
Debbie
as always lot of delicious things to see. Whats happened on the crafting front though? I am going through the same dry spell but I hope to make a change to that today (fingers crossed lol)
Love Dawn xx

Just beautiful Terri, this cup is lovely. You have such a beautiful blog. I have been enjoying all your teacups.
I want to thank you for the message you left for me. I appreciated it so much. It is wonderful that so many can understand my joy.
You asked about my pictures. I always shoot on manual and meter the light on many different settings. Then I choose the one that is closest to what I see with my eye. I don't use a photo editing program (can't figure them out...LOL)I just ake many, many photos.
hugs to yout
Hello darling you! Blessings.
I am SO late making the Teacup Tuesday rounds this week. I mean, here it is Thursday, and I'm just now visiting. Sorry for being so late.
Your teacups are stunningly beautiful!! I love those gorgeous roses. I would definitely enjoy a ladies' tea from those teacups.
Hope you're having a lovely, blessed week.
Hugs,
Patti
I am just starting to collect and know so little. I am so sad to think of my mother's collection who went who knows where. The tea cups that many of you have shown are so beautiful and I am so glad for the opportunity to see and learn.
Thank you, Terri!
