Tea Cup Tuesday-Replacements.com

Hello All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!
Can you believe I have run out of new cups to show you?
Well, I have! Lol!
Today I will share with you some pictures I took during
my recent visit to Replacements Ltd.
This shop is so amazing, just walking in the door is stunning!

To the left of the entrance you will see a entire area dedicated to silver...
silver tea sets, silver ladles, silver wares, silver cups, silver serving platters,
silver urns....the list goes on...
And it is quite the site to see all that gorgeous gleaming silver in one place!

There is a museum in the back of the store. They have so many beautiful pieces back there! Pattern books of silverware are being showcased, very fascinating!

Fascinating.

"Historic America" by Johnson Brothers. This is one ginormous tea cup!
They even call the the "Colossal" cup.

I so love looking at their large display of vintage chintz.....
These tea for one are so very sweet.

I adore the little breakfast tea trays. Can you see the chintz toast rack in the back?

Blurry, but you can see how pretty it is.
Unfortunately the images are taken through glass and without a tripod.

They have hundreds, maybe 1,000s of sets of china...not all on display lol! but they do have them in storage. Very helpful salespeople will help you find a set you will love.

Lovely tea pot and tea cup made by Royal Copenhagen.

Here is a beautiful Japanese footed tea cup with a gorgeous mother of pearl glaze.
I f you are ever in North Carolina, this is a fun place to visit.

Please join us in Tea Cup Tuesday so we can come and visit you for tea!
Just sign up below and show off one of your tea cups.
Hugs,
Terri

Here is an adorable B&B in England

Hi Terri,

I was wondering what do people do when they run out of teacups and teapots ... lol. I'm getting close to the end too. How lucky of you to be able to go to Replacements. What a wonderful place to browse and take great pictures. Happy Tea Day!

Good morning Terri,
I love that thatched roof cottage; so quaint! My aunt visited Replacements to find some of her mother's silver and oh, how I envied her! I would surely swoon to walk through their show room! I love all that chintz and the silver is stunning! Thank you for taking me on a little tour.

Blessings,
Sandi

Isn't all that silver just divine!! I would hate to polish all of that, though...lol...
The Chintz is just gorgeous! All with good taste. Beautiful!
I think my favorite is the Japanese footed tea cup. It looks like royalty!
It's hard to believe that you have run out of tea cups. SHOW THEM AGAIN! I loved them, every one.
Have a great tea time!

I LOVE going to the Replacements, Ltd. showroom. Unfortunately, my son is not in N.C. now, so I have to find another reason to travel from N. Ohio! Hmm. Maybe I should just make that the destination. Even Carl loved it. Could spend hours and hours there.

Terri - I don't know what made my palms sweaty more - the tea things on display or that B&B cottage in England!! Both pleasure daydreams of mine . . .

REPLACEMENTS HAS A STORE? Oh, I am faint with imagined bliss. I am not sure I could survive such an overdose of wonderfulness.

LOVED this post! And ... the glazed teacup looks similar to 6 that I have -- from Japan, footed, but black and gold, with the same iridescent pearl glaze on them. In fact, they're on my Tuesday post. Small world.

Best wishes,
Cass
