Hello All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday with Martha and myself...
Today the sky is heavy with dark clouds.
I had a challenging time getting some images of my tea.
So please excuse my awful exposure!
(I am borrowing the two images below from my archives)
Both of these cups I have shared before, the one above is a vintage 50s Paragon...
I just love the coloring and this sweet handle.
The X and two dots are interesting...
I think they may be artists mark...
or maybe signify seconds?
What do you think ladies?
This pretty cup also sports a fancy handle, and it is a German made cup.
Royal Bayreuth
Bavaria, Germany US Zone. This cup was manufactured during World War 2.
This company began in 1794 and was highly prized for it's designs by the
Victorians. It's backstamp includes the Royal Coat of arms of Bavaria.
The initials were written on in permanent marker...
I am thinking the owner wanted to make sure no one took her cup home from the pot luck!
For a special treat, I am having some delicious gluten free brownies, that my dear hubby baked.
Chamomile tea will go beautifully with them!
I wish you could join me for tea!
The sun peeked out from the dark clouds for one minute, and a very optimistic birdie began singing loudly!
I think this bird has the right idea....
Take every opportunity to feel JOY!
If you would like to join in the tea party, just go and create a post with the tea cup in it you would like to share, then come back here and link the URL of that post to Mr. Linky below.
Martha and I would be delighted to come and visit you too!
Hugs,
Terri

Terri,
You are talking my kind of tea party! Teal china and chocolate :) Not sure it can get any better. Thanks for sharing these fabulous cups again.
Hope you have a great week,
Anne
Terri's colour again for a lovely and delicious tea!
How beautiful! And I love brownies :)
I think the x and two dots on your Paragon cup must be an artist's mark.
Thanks for hosting this delightful tea.
Hugs
Hi Terry,
Both of your teacups are just stunning! Love the one from Bavaria. Your hubby's brownies look delicious and I could really go for one right now with my cup of tea. Thank you for hosting and have a lovely week.
Good morning Terri,
I am in love with your teacups. How beautiful they are! Aqua, being a favourite colour of mine, makes them so very appealing! They look stunning set out on your tea table and your hubby's brownies look delish. Have a beautiful day, my friend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Both cups are lovely but the one on the left appeals more to me because of its shade of green. Also, I adore its handle. Those brownies are quite special! Yum, yum! Your husband is a good baker from what I can see. I love your vase, by the way!
Hi Terri! I've missed you and all the inspiration you just ooze into Blogland - and my heart - when I visit. I'm in a new season of work and am way out of balance with it's research and writing demands. Working towards getting my life back in some way. Plus - daughter is getting married in a month! Sneaking in to post today after a 6 week absence - feels good but I'm on the clock with students arriving soon!!
LOVE your teals and blues - I ALWAYS think of you when I come across this color in teacups. So lovely how you show your china off in pictures! And - thanks for saving one of those gluten free brownies - they look delish!! Right up my alley!!
Joy!
Kathy

Here, too, the day was gray and cold, the first real day of autumn, I'd say ...
Thank you for having defied the dim light and still have hosted your tea on Tuesday, I understand well the difficulties of taking pictures :-)
Your cups are always beautiful.
Have a nice week,
Flora
