Tea Cup Tuesday-Afternoon Tea

I apologize for re posting last weeks tea.
I am unable to be with you this week.
Hugs,
Terri
Hello All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!
I am having an afternoon tea treat today
because I have been watching the Hallmark Channel,
... where they are counting down to Christmas with holiday programs
featuring mouth watering cookies and holiday meals!
lol!

I spotted this product at Whole Foods the other day
and thought it might make a good dessert for tea time.
I have to admit, I was somewhat skeptical
that a scone mix out of a bag would be good,
and this one is gluten free too.

I added dried cranberries to the mix.
They look pretty much like scones to me.

Would you like to join me for tea?
Here is a cup of Chamomile....

Or would you prefer this cup?
You get to choose as you are my guest : )

It has turned chilly here,
making tea time even more welcome.

We can chat while we sip.....

Tin Roof Teas Chamomile is flavorful and hearty.
I do love it, especially if I am having something sweet.
It just seems to balance it all out.

Would you like a scone or two with jam and cream?
They are still warm, and smell like freshly baked shortbread.

I will have some...
mmmmmmm!
Oh my!
This is delicious!
(really truly, what a pleasant surprise!)

I hope you like them too : )
And thank you to Moon Rabbit Foods,
for making my tea today easy and extra delicious!
I love finding a new delicious GF product!

*******

It would be grand if we really could have tea together...
ah well, at least we can pretend.

My cups today are....

The yellow cup with gold filigree is a Paragon.
I do love this company's china.

The yellow cup with the golden stars is a Queen Anne,
Another fine English bone china company.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I enjoyed "having" tea with you today.
Hugs,
Terri

Hi Terri! Well, since you're offering, I'll take the Queen Anne with the stars. What a perfectly beautiful cup! You always have the most beautiful cups and saucers to share - and photograph them with such precision. I am constantly inspired by your work. Now - that scone mix needs a try at my house. I shall have to look for it, though I don't often get to Whole Foods - too far. Perhaps online . . .
Joy!

Terri,I would so love to join you for tea. I love both teacups,so don't mind which one. The scones look delicious. I made some today too, from a scone mix by the Country Womens association. They are so nice and I added sultanas too like you did. My son and grandson popped in and polished them off very quickly. Lucky I froze some. I freeze them on and oven tray uncooked. They can then be popped in a hot oven without any effort when someone drops by.

I see we're both doing our blog tour at the same time. LOL!
I love the teacup with the little stars on the outside. It's so whimsical. A touch of fun. Yet very simple in design. I love that! It's cold here too this morning. But sunny! Have a great rest of the week Terri!

I just saw this teapot today at an antique mall for $160.00. It is so beautiful. Needless to say, I didn't buy it at that price but I sure love yours! Beautiful posting here!

Oh my how delicious our little tea party is. I shall choose the Queen Anne stars cup with the scalloped edge. It was a difficult decision however our tea was getting chilled while I was vacillating. Warm scones with cream and jam...yum yum! Thank you so much for inviting me to tea. I love our time together just enjoying a sip and chatting. Creative Bliss Dear...
