Hello All!
Happy Tea Cup Tuesday!
Today I am sharing a simple tea post.
I had the fortunate opportunity to sit on our balcony and enjoy an afternoon of reading.
Sublime would be a word I could use to describe this experience : )
Setting a simple tea tray, (I did not eat all those cookies! lol!).
and choosing relaxing and absorbing entertainment...
(I happen to be in the middle of a good book!)
...is all part of what I call my tea ritual.
pure enjoyment!
I am wishing you beautiful September days...
enjoying the present moment.....
Hugs,
Terri

Oh Teri,

How pretty, Terrie! I would love to do this but I have no balcony, lol, I guess the porch will do. It is getting cooler outside and quite pleasant. Love the tea tray with all its lovely tea elements....Christine
Oooh, you have one of Victoria's Teapots!
What a lovely peaceful moment.
Sometimes the simplest is the best! I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather and so glad you got to relax with a good book.
God Bless,

Yes, Terri, nothing can be more perfect than a good tea outside, in good weather, and a good book to enjoy.
And of course the beauty of the cup also adds to it all!
Have a great week, dear friend.

That looks lovely Terri. A perfect way to spend the afternoon, beautiful teapot - as you might imagine right up my street. I love that book by the way, Kate Morton is a great author. If you managed not to eat all those cookies you have more self control than me! No wonder I need to be on a diet! Elaine x

Indeed, honestly the perfect word for this weather and taking our tea outdoors and reading a good book.
Sublime, I love it.

Such a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Your chintz teapot is gorgeous! Good author. I haven't read The Distant Hours yet, but loved The Forgotten Garden.
You certainly have a lovely balcony to sit and have tea. The tray is so convenient for the tea things. I love the chintz Royal Winton teapot and hope you enjoy your book!
Thanks, Pam
What a beautiful tea! Enjoy and thanks for hosting!

Hi Terri, I have the same teapot. Did you get yours from Victoria Magazine years ago?
Have been busy with our daughter's wedding and am now trying to get back to normal.

Tea with Terri is lovely! I would definitely have eaten every one of those yummy cookies. I am totally behind in blogland so I have enjoyed seeing your Faeries in all of their adorable abodes. Awaken is especially beautiful and living in the moment is what I am trying to do. I find it a huge challenge however I am determined to enjoy my days with bliss. Blessings Dear...
