Tea Cup Tuesday

 Hello All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!

Spring has been full of surprises,
weather wise, here lately.
How is spring in your area?
Are you getting out doors for tea?

Recently a very kind friend named Gale
gave me a handmade gift...

It is a tea wallet!

I truly have never seen one before.
Have you?

How easy to take tea along in your purse,
and in such a beautiful way!
Thank you Gale!
You are so talented, thoughtful and kind!

To close I leave you with an interesting quote about sharing tea...

“In Ireland, you go to someone's house, and she asks you if you want a cup of tea. You say no, thank you, you're really just fine. She asks if you're sure. You say of course you're sure, really, you don't need a thing. Except they pronounce it ting. You don't need a ting. Well, she says then, I was going to get myself some anyway, so it would be no trouble. Ah, you say, well, if you were going to get yourself some, I wouldn't mind a spot of tea, at that, so long as it's no trouble and I can give you a hand in the kitchen. Then you go through the whole thing all over again until you both end up in the kitchen drinking tea and chatting." -C.E Murphy

May you have a lovely day,
and some quiet time to sit
and enjoy teatime.

Hugs,
Terri

I do love your Violet Tea Cup! I had never seen a tea wallet. What a great idea. I often carry bags with me but usually just in a plastic bag. This is so much nicer!

Love the Irish saying. Your teabag holder gift is beautiful! I also love India Organic tea and just posted about my love of their tulsi tea (with chamomile and honey). Yes, bring on the May flowers!

Hi Terri,
What a wonderful gift. I have never seen a tea wallet before. Your teacup is very lovely today. Violets are so pretty! What a sweet message about friends having tea. I feel like that sometimes too, I don't like to bother someone but I really would like a cup of tea. (The tink part made me chuckle). Thanks for visiting me and hosting Tea Cup Tuesday! Have a sweet week! Karen

That is a lovely cup of violets :-) Our spring has been back and forth with a few warm days and then a few cooler days. Taking tea outside would have been nice on a few if the wind didn't blow so bad!
What a nice gift Gale made you. Now you can say you never have to leave home without tea.

Oh Terri what a beautiful cup this Tuesday of Violets to warm the heart -
it is just freezing here this afternoon and I'm picturing myself sipping tea from that superb cup and saucer with you along side of me.

What a delightful addition that tea wallet will be to your picnic basket set!
It's perfect and a very thoughtful gift indeed!
Sending lots of violet hugs,
Suzy

The tea wallet is a good idea and a nice gift to receive.
I'll remember the bit about tea in Ireland when I go over in June. :-)

Love the idea of a tea wallet - beats the little snack size baggie I usually use. Even such little things as a tea wallet should be all about beauty as well as function - graceful and artful living, don't you think?
Joy!

If it's no trouble and you were having a cup anyway I would love to have a cup with you! Such a shame it's just that little bit too far. But it would be a grand thing!

that tea wallet is so cute, and what a good idea, since many restaurants do not carry good tea.
