Tea Cup Tuesday-Short and Sweet

Hello All!
Welcome to my short and sweet Tea Cup post for today.
I am "under the weather" today, and so popped up just for a moment to say "hello".

There is nothing so lovely as pretty tea cups on a crisp white tablecloth!

These three tea cups look so fresh and spring like to me.
Perfect for an afternoon tea.

....with beautiful gold filigree details, my favorite kind!

 That was the "Short"....now...

...here is the "Sweet" part of my post!

This was a delicious tea I had at my favorite tea shop in Glastonbury England.
And yes, it was really really good,
and I wish I had some right now   : )
Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
Terri

  1. Short and sweet maybe...but lovely too! Love the teacups, and love the cream tea! We have often shopped an antique market in Glastonbury. Such a pretty town! And had a cream tea there as well, for dessert after a baguette sandwich...our favorites! Thanks for bringing back wonderful times!

  26. I really must learn what camera you use. Your pictures are so professionally exquisite, always. And I would bet that even half the time you use an iPhone. Face it, it's you, Terri a masterful photographer.

I hope you will take some Airborne the next time you have the slightest hint of a cold approaching. Or, drink a good stiff vodka drink!

    XO,

  35. Love how you photographed the cups and saucers! They are absolutely beautiful and each one would be so perfect to drink from. I enjoyed about you tea time in Glastonbury. The food treats look so tasty. The name Glastonbury sounded familiar and then I remembered Glastonbury/Lotus was a set of crystal with gold filigree I bought a few years back. I hope you are much better and will have a cup of tea to help. Happy Tea Party! Pam

  36. Hi Terri! I'm so sorry to hear you're under the weather. Hope it's nothing serious - allergies, perhaps? The pollen here in NJ is terrible! I don't even try to wipe down the deck table - it's yellow every morning!

Your teacups are striking on white!! Your sweets look delish - but - best hold off on the sugar til you repair.

I'm intrigued with your charms and may try my hand at it. Found something at an estate sale the other day that may further inspire me to the purpose.

    Joy!
    Kathy
