Tea Cup Tuesday-Lovely Rosina and Giveaway

Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!
I am thrilled to be with you all today!
My life has been very full,
and I am thankful.

I receive such kind messages and comments
and I truly want to respond to every single one.
Please know I am thankful for the time you take to connect.

When I returned home from Art and Soul I had over 1,000 e-mails!
Thank goodness 200 were from anonymous! lol!
I have blocked those from my comments here
as they have increased lately. 

This week I am taking extra time to connect back to you all.  

The perfect helper for a busy life....is a cup of tea....

Wouldn't this cup just lift any one's spirit?

 I find life so full of opportunity...
So full of interesting things to learn about and try!
Do you ever feel the same?
And wish for more time to experience and explore?

Coming back from an art retreat...
I am so excited to draw and paint more.
Tea is my art room companion...
and I am always reaching for a pretty cup to drink from
during a break in my play/work.

Today I am working on some fabric ATCs for Kimberly At ArtJoyStuff.
I couldn't resist her swap!
I am also working on a new jewelry commission and

This sweet waisted cup is made by Rosina,
One of my favorite cups to collect.
Their designs are so lovely!
And now, 50+  years old,
They are vintage beauties!

Oh, Maybe I am a vintage beauty! lol!
I am over 50 : )

Now it is time to boil some water, pour myself a cup of tea
and get to it.
I used to pour my tea first and then take the pictures...
but the tea always got cold! lol!

Tea Cup Tuesday-Taking Time For Tea

 Hello All!

Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!

Today was a full day, 

Half way through...a cup of tea and a small snack really revived me.

I have set my tray in front of my art room window

so I could enjoy the view.

Recently I put up new rocks and things that remind me of nature. 

If I need to be indoors most of the day,

then it is lovely to bring nature in near me.  

I must have been working too long as I got silly

and started adorning my lace stand with tea cups.

Lace and tea cups go well together.

I love to collect both!

There is something special about a vintage linen napkin with a hand crocheted edge.

When I am at an antique shop or flea market, I am always delighted

when I come across textiles....especially lace,

or any kind of needle work. 

This lovely Pegasus is sterling silver,

only just noticed that the other day!

He has the rosey glow as Sterling Silver has some copper content.

I have had him for at least a dozen year. 

He just kind of hangs around.

I think he is good luck!

Mmmmmm.....

Just the smell alone can lift my spirit!

I am thankful for tea!

and lace,

New Class and Spring Giveaway!

The sky is blue and the flowers and trees are blooming everywhere.

Spring is such a joy, no matter where you look!

I thought I might have a giveaway to celebrate spring

Tea Cup Tuesday-Spring Growth

Hello All!

Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!

Spring is the time of year when growth is abundant...

The grasses, flowers, trees...everything alive is growing and blooming.

Me too,

I hope : )

My cup today is a new one to me, 

I found it on my trip to Asheville last month.

She was quite dirty, but looks much better cleaned up. 

 Plain Jane?
She wears pastel pinks and mints. There are several shades of these colors,

the plate being a bit more peachy pink than the foot.

Her handle is the the deepest shade of pink, and very lovely.

which I believe was meant to accompany the bright hues inside the cup.....

 Graceful brilliant daisies adorn the inside of the cup.
Truly a cup with "Inner Beauty"

She was created by the Queen Anne company of England. 

A fine quality pottery owned by Shore and Coggins, in High Street and Edensor Works in the same place as many of the English potteries set up shop....Longton, Staffordshire, Potteries. 

This company was in business from 1911 until 1966.
This backstamp suggests a 1959 + date.

You can see her pattern number is 5854, which I could not locate online.
There two blue tics,which I think are artist marks,
maybe one artist did the interior art work,
and the other the outside?

Sharon, of Livewire Jewelry, sent me a gift of Adagio tea!
Which I was delighted about. 
I had the opportunity to choose what I wanted, 
and I picked this Gourmet set.  
To try something new...to grow...
Today I am having Oolong Goddess.
It smells like I am in China right now!

I also received some of their Chamomile...
AND it was very very good!
