Tea Cup Tuesday-Sweet Pink

Hello All!
Welcome to Tea Cup Tuesday!
Christmas is only 8 days away...
Are you enjoying the holiday season?

This time of year, I look forward to the twinkling lights all around our neighborhood...
the pretty decorations in shops...and the Christmas programs on the television. I enjoy getting cozy with a cup of cocoa and a English movie.
How about you?
What says "Christmas Cheer" to you?

Tea cups can be a pretty addition to holiday decorations....
The cup I am sharing today is a sweet little pink vintage cup...
very simple, pink, cream and gold.
The inside is just plain cream.
And that is fine.
I do love the gold trim pattern!

This little cup works well with others : )
It's simple beauty lends it to a number of different uses...
In fact, I usually keep pretty little bits of vintage lace in it.

She was manufactured by Colclough in England.
And we see by the plate backstamp and the cup backstamp
that there are not an original pair.

The cup's stamps suggesting the 1920s and the plate's stamp suggests the 1930s.
Without looking at the backstamps you would not be able to tell the difference.

I am wishing you a very merry week!
Thank you for your good health wishes,
I am still recovering, but I can tell it won't be long now.
Thank you so much for every comment, and all your lovely kind words about the stuff I create : )
You all warm my heart!

If you would like to join in Tea Cup Tuesday with Martha and I, just link up your tea cup post below.
We would be delighted to come and visit you!

If you haven't yet seen my

Hugs,
Terri

The pretty snowy colors are so pretty! We may have snow on Christmas Day as we travel to my son's home in Lubbock, Tx. The lovely pink and gold rim teacup and saucer is perfect with your lovely white miniature trees. I hope you recover quickly and you have "Christmas Cheer". Pam

I like the delicate pink of your teacup and pairing it with some sweet white brush trees has created pretty vignettes.
